Little
Chipo Ncube
(pronounced CHEE-po NEW-bay)
was born three years ago in rural Zimbabwe. Chipo will never know her
mother, because her mother died from malaria before she was a year
old. Little Chipo has no idea the other terrible difficulties she still
faces.
One of every five children will die before the age of five because of
malaria, so tragic because it is preventable. Malaria is the single
biggest killer of children in Zimbabwe. Having a simple mosquito net to
sleep under dramatically improves a child’s chance for survival. You can
make a wonderful difference!
